Are you a food or drink producer based in Greater Manchester?
From insights about what small / major retailers expect from their suppliers; to the latest ways in which you can test and improve your products, this new series of workshops is designed to give food and drink businesses the skills and confidence needed to break into new retail markets. Along with the opportunity to pitch your product to retailers and those in the food services.
Developed by the Business Growth Hub this introductory breakfast event will feature a discussion about the ways in which the Hub can help businesses, as well as an introduction to the workshops that will be running in April. There will also be an opportunity to hear from all the workshop presenters and find out what's involved to improve your business performance, skills and processes.
Series of Workshops
• Tuesday 5th April - Food safety and accreditation- opening new markets through continual improvements
• Wednesday 6th April - Taking a food and drink product to market NPD (new product development) and branding/strategy.
• Tuesday 12th April - Selling your product and brand to the market
o Part 1 - Small and medium sized buyers
o Part 2 - Large buyers
• Wednesday 13th April - Practice pitching session.
There will also be the opportunity to meet with retailers and those in the food services at the final events to take place in April / May. These final events will be strictly limited to those businesses that are best placed / retail ready for the buyer, at the buyers discretion.
Please be aware that you are registering for the launch event only. There will be the opportunity to register for the workshops at the event itself.
